About Your Hosts
Nights listening to legendary DJ’s on clear channel AM radio stations from across the country sparked Dann’s fascination with radio. By ten, Dann had built his first “Heath Kit” crystal radio. By twenty, he had a full time afternoon job as a DJ while in college. By thirty, Dann was General Manager of three stations in Charlottesville, Virginia. At forty, Dann and a partner purchased two radio stations in the Greenville/Jacksonville, NC Market. At fifty something Henry and Hank made him at offer he couldn’t refuse. Great people at great stations doing great work for our clients.
Jeffery B Turner of Pink Hill, NC is Executive Vice President and COO of Murphy Family Ventures LLC in Wallace, North Carolina. MFV provides management services for the operation of swine and chicken farms both in North Carolina and Missouri. In addition, MFV manages the Murphy Family’s investment holdings, as well as the Mad Boar Restaurant, the River Landing Golf Community and Edenton Boatworks. In addition, he and his family own Turner Farms LLC, Turner Chicken Ranch LLC, Turner Real Estate Group LLC, and he is a partner in Bill Carone Ford, and Bill Carone Chevrolet.
Turner graduated with a degree in accounting and agricultural business. He currently serves on the North Carolina Board of Agriculture, The President’s Advisory Board for Campbell University, The Board of Coastal Bank and Trust, Franklin Street Partners Advisory Board, and the Lenoir County Committee of 100 Board of Directors.
